I’m a sucky-ass blogger…. Also, some Veronica Mars love.

I like to observe and then express my opinions on what I observe. Hell, I even enjoy the typing and clicking involved with expressing my opinions over the internet. Even with all of these positives stacked in my corner, I still cannot manage to blog frequently. I’ll try harder I swear, non-existent readers.
Hey, how about that Veronica Mars, eh?
Yes, I’m a few years behind the times here but I just finished season one on DVD and have watched the entirety of the first disc of season two tonight. I am trying so hard not to look up spoilers. Mainly, I want to know if Veronica and Logan end up together – even if it’s a forced, tacked-on ending to the last episode of season three, I WANT THEM TOGETHER. Sigh. Logan Echolls, I heart you.
For all of those Veronica Mars fans that may stumble across this, know that Kirsten Bell (VM herself) and showrunner Rob Yhomas (not that Rob Thomas, but that would be pretty cool if it was) are doggedly working toward a movie being made starring our favourite Neptune-ites… Neptinians? They really want it bad but have to prove to the studio that it will be a viable venture. Please do what you can. It is a great, smart, funny show filled with dynamic characters who you feel for and root for. The main character in particular is a great female role model, both vulnerable and strong. The acting and writing are superb, raising this show above the ranks of your typical high school-centric programming. Do yourself a favour, rent the DVDs from you local video store or library. Watch them and you will become addicted. After that, purchase the DVDs and then lend them out to your friends and when they become addicted, make them buy their own copies. Lather, rinse, repeat, people!
After you have stirred up a small army of VM fans, contact Warner Brothers in anyway you can manage – email, snail mail, Facebook, Twitter. If Family Guy (ugh) and Futurama (not so ugh-inducing, but I still can’t forgive them for the episode about Fry’s dog) can be brought back from the dead based on their strong DVD sales, so can Veronica.
I must see Logan and Veronica have a (somewhat) happy ending!
